Demand letter generator

This tool produces a formal demand letter (interpelação) addressed to BGPROP Portugal, Unipessoal Lda, claiming the return of your security deposit, the refund due for the remaining term of your lease, and compensation for your documented losses, with the supporting contract clauses and Civil Code provisions cited. The letter is generated in Portuguese, with an optional English translation.

Append the English courtesy translation as a second page. The Portuguese version is the operative letter.

Before you send

Send the letter by carta registada com aviso de receção via CTT.
Keep the CTT tracking receipt and the returned aviso de receção. They prove receipt and start the deadlines.
Attach the annexes: a copy of your contract (and any extension), proof of the deposit payment, and receipts for every loss claimed.
Email a copy of the letter to the Clause 17 address the same day.
