Privacy notice
Who we are
This website is run by an independent group of tenants affected by Blueground’s withdrawal from Portugal. The data controller for information submitted through this site can be reached at contact@bluegroundleftus.org. This site is not affiliated with Blueground.
What we collect
Only what you choose to share. If you tick the opt-in box when generating a demand letter, we store your name, email and phone number so the group can keep you informed about the collective action. Everything else you type in the letter tool, including the letter itself, is processed in your browser and never sent to any server.
Why we collect it (legal basis)
Your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the opt-in box in the letter tool, for one purpose: organizing a collective response (an association of affected people and possible joint legal action) regarding Blueground’s contractual obligations. We do not use your data for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone other than the legal counsel and/or association organizing the collective action.
Where it is stored and for how long
Submissions are stored in a private database (hosted on Neon/Vercel infrastructure in the EU/US) accessible only to the site organizers. We keep your data for as long as the collective action is being organized or pursued, and delete it when it concludes or when you withdraw.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent, and request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@bluegroundleftus.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, cnpd.pt).
